Guura, the Desert Kingdom and Castle of Quicksand

Why am I listening to the Hannah Montana Movie Soundtrack...?

After the Tower of Moonlight, head east a little and then south a teeny bit. Or until you see a place that has a castle in the middle of water. This is Guura!

Upgrade your weapons and armor and when you're done, go to the magic shop and buy the spell Water (ウォータ) plus if you find this: なんきょくのかぜ it'll be really useful. It's like a stone that has the spell Water in it. Useful for the upcoming boss battle. Trust me. I know you can buy it in the item shop in Guura. I don't remember.

Once you're done upgrading your armor, head to the north part of town until you reach the castle. Keep on advancing through the warp portals until you meet the king. Talk to the king and YOU HAVE THE WORLD MAP. Extremely USEFUL.

An optional quest:
At night in Guura, head to the castle and go to the second floor. Once you're in the second floor, head either left or right (both don't matter) and head to the very end of the room until you're able to go to a room. You are in the basement of Guura and you can fight enemies, etc etc. Basically, you just get items. I never bothered with this so I didn't explore the whole place. You can skip this place since its not important in the story anyway.

When the event is over, head outside town and go north until you see a small castle like thing. Enter and you're in the Castle of Quicksand. When you get to the upper floors, BE CAREFUL when walking near the sand. If you walk near those things, you'll be brought back down a floor so don't be like me when you're walking in the castle okay? How many times I fell, I cannot even count.

There's a boss fight in the 6th floor so Mr. Save-man is on the 5th floor, if I remember right.

I hope you've been levelling up even a little.

Once you enter the 6th floor, GASP WEIRD SANDMAN STANDING IN THE MIDDLE. Unfortunately, in order to get through with the game, you have to beat that.

When you're fighting the boss, be sure to cast Water or use the item なんきょくのかぜ right away, but not all the time. The boss is weak against water-based attacks/spells which will force him to "break". Once he's on "break" mode, ATTACK HIM WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT. When he's not on "break" mode, he has this attack that can deal painful damage on your party members. Heal when necessary and cast Water on him when you have the chance.

Once you beat the boss, EVENT AGAIN then you get the Black and White mage crowns. You have to activate some switch. Once you activate that switch, Kirinju will leave the party. Sad, I know. Once that's all done, a portal will appear and use that to head to the entrace of the castle. Head out of the castle and go back to Guura.

When you arrive in Guura, you and Unita will head to the inn. Brand will wake up at night. Head out and suddenly a white cat will run towards him.
