Cave of the North

I'm sure by now you're done with whatever you have to do so we head on out and save the princess!

Once you leave town, head a little out east and you'll see a small path that heads north and another that heads east. Ignore the eastern path for now and head north. Keep on heading north and eventually you'll see a cave.

Enter the cave and everything is dark. I hope you remembered to buy those flares I told you. If you didn't, you're going to have to go back to town and buy a flare. If you did buy, good for you.

HOW TO ACCESS MENU HALP PLZ
Simple: Press the X button and you got your menu. There are two options. The Item option and the Ability option.

Now that's done, you go to items and choose the flare. The dungeon will light up to a much more decent level. The dungeon is pretty straight-forward. Explore a little bit and you might find a treasure chest or two. Once you're done exploring, head down. I don't know if there's a traveller before you go down the dungeon, but whatever.

Remember I told you to level up a bit before going through the story? I hope you did. Once you head down, you'll see a violet thingy with red eyes and mouth. You can always sidestep the thing and never get on with the story, but we don't want that. Run towards the guy and Jusqua shows up! I bet you were thinking you'd fight the boss alone. I know I did.

Anyway, encounter boss! Be careful because this guy can deal some pretty heavy damage. Heal when necessary and defend when you need to. Jusqua's 'Cure' comes in very handy here, as well as his Fire spell. Once you beat the boss,  you get Jusqua in your party hooray! There should be a save point somewhere at the end of the dungeon so SAVE and head forward to the Witch's House.
